HR Recruitment Consultant

A vacancy exists for an HR Recruitment Consultant within the Micro Merchant Division – HR, in Durban.  

The HR Recruitment Consultant will have a dual role in advising the organization on various HR & Recruitment matters.  

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

HR / Employee Relations:

  • Provide guidance on handling employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct investigations into workplace complaints and provide recommendations for resolution.

Recruitment and Talent Management:

  • Creating and posting job advertisements on various job boards and social media platforms.
  • Reviewing resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
  • Scheduling and coordinating interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintaining regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process to keep them informed and engaged.
  • Managing and updating candidate database and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Ensuring that the recruitment process complies with company policy.

Onboarding Support:

  • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters and coordinating background checks.
  • Communicate with new hires to provide necessary information and answer any questions.

In order to be considered for this position, the following requirements must be met:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Consultant or in a similar HR role.
  • 3 years of experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, and employee relations.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
