Kazang Connect – KSIS Systems Manager & Data Analyst

A vacancy exists for a KSIS Systems Manager & Data Analyst within Kazang Connect, in Cape Town

The purpose of this role is to manage the KSIS system to support Sales Field team requirements and provide Data Analysis and reporting to meet Sales Management requirements. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Kazang Sales Incentive System (KSIS) Manager
    • Maintain the KSIS system on a daily basis for Kazang Field Sales Regional teams.
    • Gather Sales needs in terms of KSIS systems configuration and reporting and ensure KSIS is at all times structured to align with Regional Field Sales structures.
    • Run relevant daily and weekly reports related to KSIS and Sales performance data and distribute them to relevant stakeholders.
    • Reconcile monthly commission reports with Sales Admin and Finance within monthly Payroll requirements. 
    • Write clear and well-structured business requirements/documents. 
    • Identify automation opportunities. The most specific initial requirements are to take over all excel based manual reports from Mark Torrington and to identify with IT how to automate the same onto the KSIS system as soon as possible.
    • Create reports, dashboards, and visualisations to understand business performance. 
    • Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain reporting tools. 
  • Business Intelligence Analyst
    • Assist in developing and managing BI solutions. 
    • Analyse and document business requirements/documents. 
    • Assisting with the restructuring of the data architecture. 
    • Testing and supporting the BI solution. 
    • Assist with modelling the data by applying dimensional and star schema models. 
    • Technical workshops for other staff to upskill them in understanding power BI and data querying. 

Required experience:

  • Minimum 3 – 5 years work experience, including Data Analysis exposure.

Technical Competencies: 

  • Strong Excel skills. 
  • PowerBI dashboarding skills.
  • Ability to extract data from databases (ODBC and CSV).
  • Ability to validate data across various datasets. 

Education and experience:

  • Matric plus an undergraduate degree or diploma in formation Systems or related qualification is preferable. 

Behavioral Competencies: 

  • Self-motivated, can work in relative isolation.
  • Make own decisions and propose solutions to problems identified.
  • Be able to build and maintain relationships with key System users and meet their reporting requirements.
