A vacancy exists for a Project Manager within the VAS and Card division, Kazang Connect, in Cape Town.
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing solutions related to new and existing products, modules, and services. They should also set milestones for each project, and coordinate efforts between business development, sales, operations, and technology. This position works with the internal Project Management Office to make sure there is structure and efficiency across all projects.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate resources and assemble project squads.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and within budget.
- Develop project scope and manage changes.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress (using Confluence).
- Measure and report on project performance to Manco.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Communicate and hand over project milestones to relevant stakeholders.
In order to be considered for this position, the following requirements must be met:
- Project Manager experience.
- Proven working experience in project management and the digital economy and technology sector.
- Qualification in Project Management (Beneficial).
- Background in a Tech environment (Beneficial).

- Understanding or hands-on experience in software development.
