Who is Kazang

Company Overview

Kazang is a leader in prepaid value-added services (VAS) in southern Africa. We help shop owners, traders and other entrepreneurs to increase sales and profits, and to grow their businesses. All of this by simply giving shoppers access to prepaid products and services that are needed and used every day.

We trade through a network of 68,000 active devices in South Africa alone, where we process over 1.5 million transactions daily. Our vendors, many of them located in informal, rural and peri-urban areas, earn income with each transaction they process via our Kazang point of sale (POS) devices.

Our products and services include airtime, data bundles, electricity, international airtime and electricity, DStv payments, 600+ bill payments, money transfers, supplier payments, and gaming top-up vouchers.

We are constantly expanding our bouquet of products and services to provide our customers the best offering possible. This also extends to payment methods as customers are now able to pay for goods with cash or card, thanks to our Kazang Pay functionality.

We have recently also extended our offering, as part of the Connect Group to provide automated cash vaults to our qualifying vendors. This ensures their hard-earned cash stays secure and allows them to become a hub for cash deposits, top-ups and more. We are also looking into providing small-scale lending options to our bigger vendors to assist them in running their business efficiently.

Kazang currently operates in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zambia. We are part of the Connect Group of companies which provides solutions for businesses to grow and boost their profits.
