A vacancy exists for a Trusted Centre Agents within the VAS and Card division, Kazang Operations, in Cape Town.
The Kazang Trusted Centre forms part of the Fraud and Security department. The Trusted Centre is the gateway for any activities that have financial implications for the company or vendors, with the specific mandate to ensure that potential fraud related to such activities are prevented. The Trusted Centre Agent will be responsible for the verification, processing and approval of specified transactions and activities and operate in a secure environment. These agents will go through a stringent vetting process and work in a controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Transaction vetting and approvals
- Check requests for approval and processing of financial transactions.
- Verify and process requests.
- Escalate any non-compliant requests to the Fraud team for investigation.
- Ensure that requests are attended to within the prescribed service levels.
- System changes
- Verify and process requests.
- Escalate any non-compliant requests to the Systems team for investigation.
- Ensure that requests are attended to within the prescribed service levels.
- Interface with Finance Department
- Manage all refund requests from Vendors that must be actioned by the Finance Department.
- Ensure that all relevant documentation is received to perform refunds.
- Manage all refunds of fraud-related incidents.
In order to be considered for this position, the following requirements must be met:
- Matric.
- Advanced Computer literacy.

Employment conditions:
- Applicants must undergo a Polygraph test.
- The Trusted Centre will be in a Secure area with restricted access.
- No cellular phones, notebooks or writing material will be permitted into the Trusted Centre.
- Trusted Centre Agents will be allowed 5 minutes per hour personal time.
