Team Leader – Formal EPMM



As the Team Leader, you will be the driving force behind the success of EasyPay Money Market. You will be given full autonomy and accountability as if they were your own business.

This means that you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and customer service.

You will be instrumental in the growth and success of the company.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading a team of Sales Executives in the EasyPay Money Market product category in the Southern Region.
  • Identifying and driving negotiations with key Brand owners for regional or national account accreditation with such Brands for EPMM to be an accredited VAS provider in such Brand stores.
  • Management of a sales team consisting of both sales reps and independent agents in local area to ensure individual targets are met.
  • Participating in growing these teams by being part of sales staff and independent agent recruitment, where needed.
  • Ensuring you and your teams conclude all Sales Administrative work as directed by the company, including managing device assets.
  • Ensuring correct procedures are followed by all sales representatives including completion of all expense and internal documentation required by head office.
  • Ensure the sales team is kept informed regarding the business plans and goals.
  • Remuneration for this position will be made up of a basic salary as well as commission on the entire base as well as the base under the Field leaders direct management.
  • Review of sales staff performance on a weekly basis.
  • Planning of sales staff activities on a weekly basis.
  • Weekly Sales Meeting and Forecast Sessions.
  • Maintaining an existing base.
  • Acquire new business and manage the relationship with new and existing customers.
  • Sourcing and training Sales Executives in above portfolio.
  • Ensuring you and your teams conclude all Sales Administrative work as directed by the company, including managing device assets.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics, and technical service groups when required.
  • Achieve sales operational objectives by contributing local sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
  • Assisting field sales staff and independent agents in identifying and closing large opportunities.
  • Developing and managing your own key customer portfolio within the above regions.

In order to be considered for this position, the following requirements must be met:

  • Matric.
  • Tertiary qualification advantageous.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in managing a field sales team of at least 5 people.

Technical Competencies:

  • Computer literacy – MS Office Suite.
