Kazang – Micro Merchant Division – Content Writer



A vacancy exists for a Content Writer within the Micro Merchant Division – Operations, in Century City, Cape Town.

The Content Writer will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and engaging training materials, including manuals, guides, procedures, presentations, and e-learning content.

To be successful in this position you will need to have a strong understanding of instructional design principles excellent writing skills, and the ability to translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand materials.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to gather content requirements and learning objectives.
  • Design, develop, and update training materials in various formats, including written documents, presentations, and multimedia presentations.
  • Assist with the implementation and add content to the LMS (Learning Management System)
  • Write clear, concise, and engaging content that effectively communicates key concepts, procedures, and best practices.
  • Organize information logically and structure training materials in a user-friendly format for optimal learning outcomes.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines in all training materials.
  • Incorporate interactive elements, such as quizzes, exercises, and case studies, to reinforce learning objectives and promote active engagement.
  • Review and revise existing training materials based on feedback, updates, or changes in requirements.

In order to be considered for this position, the following requirements must be met:

  • Matric/Grade 12.
  • A tertiary qualification in Copywriting or any relevant Qualification.
  • Experience in Content Writing or a similar role.

Technical Competencies:

  • Computer literacy – MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
